3 Things Audiences Need to Hear from an International Christian Motivational Business Speaker

Selecting an international Christian motivational business speaker for your organization can be a daunting task. You might be wondering if you can find someone who speaks from a faith-based perspective while sharing truly effective motivational advice.

In my motivational speaking, I’ve worked internationally with many Christian audiences, and I relish the opportunity to speak from a faith-based standpoint. I often speak to these audiences about how to create balance in work and life. In my presentation entitled “Unplug, Disengage, Disconnect: How to Create Balance in Your Work and Your Life,” I help Christian audiences align their priorities and focus with their spiritual values.

Here are three components of these talks that deliver value for a Christian audience.

  1. Techniques for prioritizing and setting boundaries.

Carefully setting and communicating priorities is one of the most loving things you can do for your family, friends, coworkers, and yourself. Though we may feel compelled to rush through life in a flurry of activity, it’s important to take time out to reflect on where we need to devote more time and attention. Take a few moments each week to set goals for both your personal and professional life, I advise audiences. For example, you might have a goal of taking more time to support your children in their extracurricular endeavors by taking them to practice. Or, you might set a time to pray as a family every day.Whatever your goal, communicate it with love—and remember, over-communicating is much better than under-communicating! You may think you’re already on the same page with your spouse or your children, but loving affirmations that you’re prioritizing together time will make everyone feel more connected.

  2. Tips for unplugging.

In our ultra-connected world, sometimes we don’t even realize all the ways that we stay plugged in even when we want to disconnect. If your phone chimes every time you get a work email, you haven’t unplugged, even if you’ve vowed not to write back til tomorrow. Mentally, you might be writing that email even though you’re trying to spend an evening out with your spouse.Believe me, you’re far from alone. In my work as a professional motivational business speaker for Christian audiences across international borders, I continually answer questions about how to truly detach from work while at home. You may need to be reachable in a true work emergency, but not for minor issues that can wait until tomorrow. Come to agreements with your spouse about what unplugging means, so you can remind each other to leave work at work!

  3. Advice on shifting culture.

In my transformational motivational speeches, I give advice on shifting organizational culture in positive ways as well. If you’re in a workplace where everyone suffers from rush syndrome, people are continually staying late, and work communications may continue long into the night, work to become a change agent at your company. I share ways you can influence your boss and coworkers to prioritize work/life balance, so life won’t pass you by in a flurry of work-related tasks. For example, if your workplace doesn’t have clear guidelines on how to decide if something is a true crisis that requires reaching out to someone who’s off-duty, establish a protocol. As an international motivational speaker for Christian businesses and organizations, I’ll work to instill your values throughout your organization. I look forward to hearing more about the specific issues you’d like me to address in a motivational speech.
